It's another hobby of mine, I've been riding all my life, and recently bought a new bike to play on. If you have a bike, be it a road or off road hack, post it up. :)
My current bike is the FireBlade 1000RR-5 Repsol rep.

Hi Matt,

Probably that the roads here just keep on twisting and turning, it makes it so much fun. I have never been to Aus' but I would imagine lots of straight roads, maybe better for touring bikes.

As you proberly already know alot of proms move to Australia each year. I have at least 8 good mates who have done so and they all ride.

Yes we have alot of straight roads (highways) but also twisting/turning ones especially though the mountain ranges.

Hey Hollowman,

you would appreciate this..

I was involved in a recent ride to the hills charity run regarding those nasty bush fires we had in summer.

I took 14 minutes of wall to wall bike footage from start to finish. some amazing wheels were spotted 10 thousand plus bikes easy

Wow!! quite a sight. I think that people underestimate the persona of the 'biker' They / we are a caring lot and often show solidarity for worthy causes.

Thanks for posting Nicholas :)

lol @ power ranger suits!!

Not a bad set of leathers mate - alot Aussies don't wear em - were tough (or stupid) - we ride around in a pair of shorts and a tank top lol - Stack the bike - rip the skin off ya back - bum and legs - stand up - look back at the skid marks n say "DAMN ... that was fun ... might try that again" 8-)

  Power Ranger!!  What are you lot like??

Here in the Uk the roads are not very good, there are always lots of farm waste in the roads or horse manure. As it rains a lot we also get silt or gravel left in the roads after a downpour, so for me wearing protective clothing is a must. It is pretty much frowned upon if you dont wear good safe gear. As the roads are also pretty twisty, compared to maybe straighter roads in Aus' you never know when you are going to be caught out, so better safe than sorry.

Yep, I like orange too

Just to prove that I don't always wear a power ranger suit, here is my previous bike, (just for Boc) it's a Suzuki Hayabusa GSXR1300

lol - I lived in Tassie for most of my life - let me tell ya, if you want a nice bendy road to ride ya bike on, next time you come to Aus - jump on the ferry in Melbourne and spend a few days touring Tassie - you'll love it (you may even love the "Below 0" temps there at night from midnight till about 6am)

Hi

http://www.webbikeworld.com/r3/motorcycle-underwear/

Sorry, can we just take a moment to ponder at the photo of the man in motorbike gear? And what's with the step ladder?

[/i]"hmmm no, no, no - props can we please sproose up our rider please? Get the step ladder!

Rider, your not looking natural. There, put your leg on the ladder like you're about to step up and paint the air"[/i]

Talk about being awkward...
