Canister - UV Combo ?

Ok need some help on this, I am gonna be getting either a 55gal or a 75gal tank coming up soon. I am wondering what set up of canister filter should i get with a UV sterilizer combo for each size tank, or well there probably will just be one set up for both but you get the gist. Just need the optimal set up thanks.

canisters with inbuilt uvs are always way underpowered to take care of anything except algae.

first find a filter that will suit your tank (for example 1x 2217 for a 55 or 2x 2217's for a 75) then size a uv to suit

Hey, sorry i was not clear enough. I meant id love to know what size filter would be good, i do think I am leaning towards the eheims.

ILLUSN has it spot on, the Eheim 2217 is a great cannister. :)

Hey thanks for the help. I actually got a good deal from a buddy who works at a petsmart lol. 350 for a Eheim 2028 professional II and a coralife turbo twist 36w UV for like 350. so i hope i didnt get robed but im impulsive so I went for it. Thanks for the help.
