Any body ever used grey glass in thier breeding tanks......is it too dark for the young to find the parents?

Are you getting it free from the tank builder in Caboolture?

Well bud, try it. Specially if you are a glazier.... and its free. Post up some pics once you have them made up

i've got two three foot tanks i was thinking of using. they got a clear front. so i can still see the fish. it's just that the sides and bottom absorb the light. three foot may still be a bit big.

Rex, tbh, I think I would rather go for clear glass for breeding tanks, whatever size you make them. I always paint the back, bottom and sides of any breeding tank white just so that the parents are clearly visable. But if you want to try it, go for it, but please post up if you get a good result.
