Nematodal Parasites or Hex

Not sure if this poo = Nematodal Parasites & needs Levamisole treatment
or is it Hex & needs Metro

It is white, jellylike but not thick. More long & stringy. It looks segmented.

I'd appreciate your thoughts.

i used to think poo like that was always worms till i had a look at one under a microscope and found big protozoa.

your best bet woulb be to do a levimenisole treatment then 24hr later do a nice big water change and start a metro treatment.

repeat the levimenisole every 2 weeks for 3 cycles and you'll have both nematodes and hex covered.

Will do, thanks ILLUSN. Luckily, he's still eating. So the metro can be done with food. Big L can't be dosed by food, can it? Best in the water?

i dose in water, you can use some freeze dried black worms to soak it up and feed if you like.

BTW, I did give them already (last night & this morning) some metro laced food. So is it ok to have given them that already & do the Big L tonight?

I plan feeding them with metro exclusivly for 7 days. You think they need longer?
