Hi i saw some led lights on ebay that i was thinking of buying and trying....

the ones here on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=200277417291) are blue so might not be any good but would white ones do the trick?

i have heard the led lighting is cheaper to run as it uses less energy... so that's what's got me interested. also they are very compact so i can put them on my stand and the won't get in the way.

is ebay the best place to get this type of led strip from?

any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated

cheers
matt

Hi mate, i have similar LED's but mine where from a guy in canada. I bought the led strip on ebay which i had to connect to my own 12v power source. They look good and give the fish a spooky look. But they are a little too blue. If you can get one blue stip and 1 white strip (or 1 strip with alternate blue and white) then it will give it more of a moon glow rather then looking like you're trying to stop junky fish from shooting up.
