grass like plant

I been seeing this grass like stuff in many discus tanks. It is very short and looks just like grass but uunder water. Does anyone now what this is?

WOW I should of thought of that. THANks It should make my tank look really nice! It will do fine in sand correct? It won't kille other plants right?

Hair Grass is a very fine grass. Not sure about sand but it's pretty easy to grow (can get out of control if you're not carefull). Lilaeopsis is another alternative, it looks more like traditional lawn grass.

cool thanks, I guess I will have to tend to the grass like a well mowed lawn. Well of course except for watering it. I don't think I will need to :)
