Babies not feeding on parents after first day.

Hi everyone:

Have any of you experienced young that do not feed off parents after first day. If so any remedies you can suggest.

Lower the water level to just above the tallest parent fish. This reduces the distance they have to swim to bump into the food source.
You must also make sure that there are no dark objects in the tank, as the fry are attracted to dark objects.
