I am going to set up a 8ftx2ftx2ft. I will put in about 12 or more Discus and some Lcats and peppermints cats in there .

Set up options - I have option to use undergravel filter with Power heads or Air stones.

I need to buy a new Canister filter, I was thinking of buying either a
- JEBAO PROFESSIONAL 2000L/H CANISTER FILTER or
- Resun Xtreme Canister Filter EF-2800U (with 11W UV lamp) 2800L/H
does anyone know about these 2 filters?

Or any other suggestions - please let me know
Thx
Colin

Personally I'd go with an Eheim Pro III 2080 or an Eheim 2260 Classic but thats just my 2 cents.

Greggy

I second Greggy's motion. Pay the money now and be satisfied well into the future.

Hi,

(Talking from reviews) Yeah they are good but its no eheim. There is a great review comparing the FX5 to the 2080. Personal preference at the end of the day but from memory the 2080 comes out on top as a machine. FX5 comes out on top for price. 2080 uses less energy though.

Ive read good things about the FX5. Have a look.

Eheim ..all the way
FX5's ,Jebos , Resun's .....are no comparison to a Eheim.

Since I did that review I've really gone right off FX5's ... every single one I've had has broken.
