Hi Alex, welcome to the forum.

The photos are a little small to give you any real ideas on their sex, I could give a guess, but larger pics will help, but even then it is not 100% confirmed.
The fish do look a little stressed, can I ask about your maintenance routine, ie how often you do a water change and how much, the food you are feeding, temperature and water parameters.

thanks

How about Ammonia and nitrite and nitrate? these are probably more important.
I would also up the % of water you change to at least 30-40 %. You will see a big difference.

Hi Alec,

Your ammonia should be 0, nitrite the same, you should see up to 5ppm nitrAte
Everything else sounds fine.
