That breitbinden is magnificent!! We will probably see them in an lfs say late october when they are released from quarantine. Still we know the best fish go to Japan, Europe then, Hong Kong and Taiwan in that order of priority. Our only hope of good wild fish would be Glaser, and I'm still waiting for ruby tetras to be available in Sydney.

Still we know the best fish go to Japan, Europe then, Hong Kong and Taiwan in that order of priority. I am convinced now the best fish go to Japan, Europe (specially Germany) then China and Taiwan, then Hong Kong. We now only have 2-3 LFS who constantly import Dwarfs.

And among the fish pals in Hong Kong, we always complain that the quality of Dwarfs nowadays are so much lower compare to years before.

Wow, I didn't realise China has a market as well, that must change things a lot cos there wasn't a strong following of dwarfs say 3 years ago, and I always thought HK came before Taiwan. Thanks for the information.

It is because Japan has big influence to the Taiwanese. In fact, there are more dwarf hobbist there than it is in Hong Kong. There is a big Taiwanese supplier who used to supply Hong Kong is now quitting in Hong Kong but going into China.
