If it's new...and include lights (3-4 tubes)...and also have doors for cabinet...I will say the deal is not bad...

The price is a quote for brand new tank... It doesnt come with light but it does have 4 door cabinet raw timber.

ok price...if the caninet is stained....
make sure you also have extra budget for lighting and a good sump...or 2 canisters...

I would be asking why is it so cheap...

A quality built 6ft cabinet raw, will cost you at least $350, and a good hood $180 (they are both discounted prices).

Check the tank glass width, personally I would want 12mm on a 6ft span of glass, but 10mm is safe. Just make sure it isnt 8mm, that is a recipe for disaster.

If all is above board, that is one suweeeeeeet deal.

As Jim suggested, make sure you factor in lighting (approx $150-$200) and filtration ($300 and up)...

let us know how you go.

some say that a 2 foot wide tank would be better, at least for a planted aquarium, which may be a consideration for the future, even if you do not use it for that purpose now....
