i picked up a pair on the weekend at the auction and ive only been able to find a little bit of information on them online and was wondering if anyone here has had experience in keeping and breeding them, ive read they like really low ph of less then 6.0,so i have a bag of peat suspended in front of an aqua clear outlet. The female is really coloured up and the male is not showing any colour really but looks ok. I have them in with 4 juvenile bolivian rams and 2 neon green corydoras .In the tank are two lots of driftwood with anubias and some java moss,

cheers
Sarah

well both fish carked it within days of each other , they stopped eating and a week later both were upside down, odd thing is the other fish in the tank are fine, i think it was the ph just not soft enough for them alas.
