Hi Everyone

I know this thread is very similar to chikku's, but I didn't want to high jack :)

As some of you know, I'm in the process of getting my water chemistry back to 100% :D

I have been raising the KH since my last water change & it is now sitting on 2. Obviously with raising the KH level it does raise the PH also, which is now sitting on 6.8-7.0.

I would like to get my KH level to 4, but I am concerned that the PH may spike. What would be the best way / process to raise the KH while not upsetting the current PH level?

Hi,

I use a combination of both Alkaline and Acid Buffer by Seachem. Works very well.

Have a look at the FAQs on Seachem's website, it will give an idea of the dosage rates.

Cheers Atti

Thanks Atti.

I've actually got the Seachem acid buffer, but need to pick myself up a alkaline buffer.
