Sera Siporax

sera siporax® is a fully biological filter material for all internal, external and trickle filter systems, and for garden pond filters. 1 liter sera siporax® provides as much settling area for bacteria as approximately 34 liters of ceramic filter material. Therefore 1 liter sera siporax® ensures more than 200 liters of biologically clean aquarium water. sera siporax® is an excellent choice for small filters.
Prefilter with sera biofibres or sera filter wool to prevent large particles from entering the biofilter.

sera siporax® provides anaerobic bacteria an extremely large amount of open-pored tunnel structures. This allows an ideal supply of the anaerobic bacteria with nutrients and a smallest amount of fresh water. There are oxygen-poor conditions within the tunnels. This makes the bacteria crack nitrate to get enough oxygen. Consequently, they continuously break down nitrate, and the aquarium water remains low in nitrate.

The surface of one liter of sera siporax® has almost as much biological breakdown power as 34 liters of ceramic filter material.

Introducing the MAG-FLIP SCRAPE & CLEAN!

MAG-FLIP STEP 1
Put the thin part of the Mag-Flip into the aquarium at the front window with the cleaning material in sight. This part will sink to the bottom slowly with the scraper downwards. Put the handle on the outside in front of inner part with logo on top. The magnets attract.

MAG-FLIP STEP 2
To flip the inner unit, completely remove the handle from the window at least 5” or 10 cm and rotate it 180 degrees (logo up to logo down).

MAG-FLIP STEP 3
Place the handle back on the window about 2”or 5 cm on either side of the inner unit. IMPORTANT: Make sure the top of the handle is at same level as the top of the inner unit.

MAG-FLIP STEP 4
Slide the handle towards the inner unit until flipping occurs. Make sure the top of the handle is at the same level as the top of the inner unit. To flip again start at step 2.

RED SEA MAX 250 IS HERE!!

The new Red Sea Max 250 has all of its appliances controlled through a side panel and runs from a single plug. All of the pumps are individually switched and lighting can be controlled via a digital timer built into the hood.

This is a 250 litre, full reef-spec, plug-and-play aquarium. A single cord coming out of the back; the lighting is powered by six 39W T5 lights and some LEDs. This is giving you reef-spec 1W per litre lighting and is giving you about 240W of lighting.

In terms of circulation it is approx 15 times an hour here, and that's powered by twin circulation pumps. One producing 1200 lph and one producing 2400 lph.

The protein skimmer itself runs about a third of the size of the back of the tank, and gives you a proper turbo-injecting reef-spec in terms of air-to-water ratio.

The hood lifts all the way up and is cooled inside by fans. At the back there are also water cooling fans to keep the temperature to a level where, unless you're in exceptional circumstances, you don't require a chiller.
