Hey all, i'm new to discus, had my tank going for abotu 3 months, slowly stocking it with tetras b4 getting my discus. I just want to know what i have to do to my water from it coming out of the tap to being able to put discus in the tank. I was advised by my LFS to get Seachem's Discus Buffer. is the the best stuff? is there a cheaper option or something better? also i currently have only been doing pH checks what other test kits should i get for when i have discus?
i realy just need an idiots guide to the water requirements of Discus and how to get it to that point form my tap.
