Lighting

Hi i am planning to set up a 70cm x 40 x 50 plant tank.

Just wonder what sort of the lighting is good to keep plant healthy?

2 x 24w T5 light unit or a Metal Halide (1x 150w, 14,000k metal halide light.
- 2x 25w Blue PL actinic fluorescent lights) ??

go the 2x24w t5's a single halide is proably a bit much on a tank that shallow, and 14000k isn't the best color either.

2x t5s will give you enough light and with 2 bulbs you can play with the spectrum a little to get just the look you want.
