Hi,

It's been a while since I posted on the forum.

About one year ago, I had two discus in a community tank that decided to pair up. She laid eggs, he would fertilize them and someone in the tank would have a feast of caviar. This happened repeatedly for weeks.

So I bought a new tank, left it bare bottom and transferred the pair. She laid eggs once, ate them and never laid again.

Eventually, I planted up the tank and just recently put three other discus in the tank.

Well, the female just laid eggs again tonight. And the male has fertilised them. She laid them on a plant leaf.

I have posted two pictures of them. The orange one is the male and the other one is the female. I believe that the male is "Super Red" and I am not sure what the female is called. It seems that different discus shops call them different names. But they came from Mac at OAFI.
