Hi All,
great site, I've really enjoyed reading through all the posts and finding out so much info about Discus.
I haven't kept fish for quite a few years, but all it took to get me hooked again is a visit to a friends place where they had a small tank with a Siamese fighter and few catfish.
I started again with a few Rainbow fish, but soon discovered that my lfs had Discus from time to time. I resisted the temptation for a while but eventually decided that I needed a larger tank to keep a couple of Discus. Well that was 12 months ago, now I have 4 tanks and I'm totally addicted. My first two Discus that I bought, luckily, turned out to be a pair and have laid eggs twice...and eaten both lots, although the second time was probably my fault as I did a water change not realising that they had just spawned. The others are still young and growing quickly.
