Can Spirulina Flakes be fed to Discus ? If yes, what are the benefits ? I am presently feeding mine with freeze dried and frozen bloodworms, Tetra Discus Granules and Sera Discus Flakes.

spirolina is rich in antioxidents and vitamins, it has excellent color enhamcing properties and boots immunity.

is difficult to get discus to eat the flake, my fry eat it, but they eat anything you put into the tank, i mix spirolins powder and MAC's prirolina flake into my beefheart mix.

put it into your beefheart mix

My discus do not have the pleasure to have beefheart mix as beef is not permissible in my house for various religious and social aspects, I feed them with different types of frozen as well as freeze dried bloodworms, as well as Sera and Tetra feed for Discus..what other food can I feed to enhance color and immunity ..

I can't see why not, it would seem Australian goats run at about 9% body fat, something which many of us can only dream about so I doubt they're going to hurt your fish.

Chicken heart or turkey heart could also be used.

So in brief, anyone's heart will do, not only beef's.
