hi all what plants will take with no co2 for my 4fter discus tank

are thay a harty plants and what globes will i need ?
i havw all ways had bearbottom tanks

all will grow in low to medium light but you'll still need 2w/gal.

every plant there is VERY hardy, any globe with good peaks in the red region (aquaglo, growlux, etc)

my globes are life glo2 &power glo
so are they ok ?

life glos have strong peaks in the green region (where our eyes are nost sensitive) hence they look brighter than all others in the hagen range.

power glows have a very small peak in the red region, but a good blue peak which plants can also use.

personally i'd replace your lifeglo2 with either an aquaglo, aquastar or growlux tube, or some other plant friendly tube.

when your power glo gets to aroung 9mths old you'll have to replace it too, when that time comes stick a second plant tube in and you'll be fine.
