Is Chemi pure ok to use in a planted discus tank

I have a 75 gallon tank with amazon sword and dwarf sagitaria which i recently put 4 turqoise discus in. I bought some chemi-pure from the pet store because i heard it keeps the water in good condition but am a little hesitant to use it. Has anyone used this with discus before? Will it affect the plants?

I have just bought chemi-pure and am also wondering about plants as it seems to have carbon in it - no ingredients are actually listed
