Yipee.... one of my pair have spawned this evening.

Here's the photographic evident of their crime 8-)


And yes - their eggs are white (compared to the red/pink egg of apisto).

Fingers (and toes) are crossed - hopefully they'll hatch mid next week....

Congratulations. It was a rather difficult task to keep them and to breed them as well.
I have sent you a few posts over recent months but you did not reply. Most probably you have not received them.

Wow, congratulations Thomas!

Hopefully you can breed a large number of these "Apistogramma weisei". We need more of these guys around, since they seem to be one of the harder ones to import. It seems name changing a fish actually changes the fish, go figure.

When I get back from QLD, I might start a colony. They seem to be available at the moment and hopefully we can get a few different bloodlines going.
