Hi,
A little back story.
Recently moved Yellow Mellon female and cobalt Male into new 55G tank from 35G.
On Friday night the two of them we in spawning mode, picking at one of the tank ornaments, getting very close etc. but nothing ended up coming of it.
She made many passes like she was going to lay eggs, but nothing happened.
Today we noticed that she is not eating, and it not straying too far from the top corner of the tank, in the stream of bubbles from the air stone.
She has what appears to be a white pimple on the top of her body, in the base of the fin.[photos attached, all be it not very good ones]
She also has a little patch on her side that looks like maybe some missing slime coat or something?
Any help would be great.
I'm going to turn the night lights on and leave the lights off.
Tank is 28.5 C
no amonia
PH 6.6
nitrates 5
Running eheim 2028
Tank has been up and running for about 6 weeks, did a full fishless cycle.
