Regular Medication or medicate when needed?

Hi Folk,

Do you give Regular Medication (weekly /monthly) or medicate when needed?

Please share advice.

Hi Scott, apart from regular worming (every 6 months) I would only medicate when absolutely necessary.

At the first sign of illness, I raise the temp by a degree or two, and begin daily water changes and give the fish time to let his own immune system deal with the problem.

If that fails, then I'll medicate.
