Hi everyone!
I would like to start with aquarium hobby.
So I would like to know, which fishes(species) do you suggest me as I'm starting as a beginner?
With regards,
carchek

Before anyone can suggest anything you first need to tell us if you have a fish tank, how big it is, and if you have a filter running. You can't put water in a fish tank and throw fish in there. You're going to need to let the tank "cycle" then after a week or so throw in an inexpensive "canary" to help the cycle. So its a slow process to start but very rewarding when done correctly. Patience is key.

My apologies to you carchek. Your right about the content mate, spam usually consists of xxx, viagra, single russian or asian woman with billion dollar deceased estates who need you to help them OR sites about earning money. The links in your sig look and sound just like spam.

For that size aquarium, you could have a pair of dwarf cichlids such as blue rams, some corries (3-4) or a bristlenose catfish, and a small school of tetras (neons, cardinals, glowlights, black neons, rummynoses etc, it's up to you, but it's best to keep one species of tetra, they feel more secure). That would polish off the tank nicely. If you didn't want those sorts of fish, you could get a male and female dwarf gourami (honey, red honey, cobalt - can be bit territorial, neon blue etc). You could probably get away with putting an angelfish and a few cories in there as another option. IMO, I love the blue rams, they are full of character and aren't aggressive, just a but territorial, but they are cichlids after all. You could have some kuhli loaches, but you'll have to have a tight fitting cover, they have a knack of getting out! Any small peaceful fish would be FINE in your aquarium, the secret is knowing how to stock your tank properly.
