filter overkill?

Hey quick question.. I have a 75 galllon nonplanted discus tank. Anyway, I have a rena xp3 which is supposidly good for over 100 gallons and now added a eheim classic 2215. Wanted to know if to much filtration and cleaning can be bad for the fish or is the overkill good. I added the eheim because I felt the rena was honestly garbage and wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.

yep dan you cant have too much filtration on a tank, my 6x2x2 runs an eheim 2080, a pentair aquatics fb900 and an eheim 2217 with a 36w uv, if you believe the manufacturers advice that enough filtration for over 5000L
