Have been doing some reading as we are going to be giving breeding a go. What my question is where can you buy a digital pH pen. Are there any brands to stay away from?

Thanks Leanne

Hi,

Ive been using this one for the last 6 months or so. It has been doing me well. Just dont forget to turn it off when your not checking because it will go through the batteries quite quickly.

ps, thats not a pen. sorry.

I did once have a 3 in 1 pen that measured PH, Temp and Humdity. I cannot remember the name but it was grey casing with blue display and the probe arm swivelled back into the handle like a pocket knife. That broke on me before i could even use it.

My very slight understanding of the way they work is they only have a shelf life of about 12 months.

Also, the glass probe/sensor needs to be stored in a solution.

Nick here, also waiting to see what others have to say about this.
