G'day all. I'm fairly new to discus (only kept them once before) and have just set up a discus display tank. The discus i have bought have VERY early stages of HITH (so much so i couldnt even see it in the store) and i have begun treating with metro whilst giving them some vitamin enriched BH mix. They're eating fine, they're looking healthy, they're getting more confident as they settle in etc.

My questions are:

Can i add stress coat to the water while treating with Metro?

Can i treat them for tape and fluke worms while using metro or should i wait?

I read somewhere the tank lights should be off when using metro (they are) but is it possible to keep them on at all ( for my plants)?

Can i add new fish as soon as i'm done treating with metro or should i give everything time to recover afterwards?

Thank you all for your help.

metro is light sensitive so keep the lights off, 6 days wont kill your plants.

if you want to keep the lights on add metro to the food at 1g/100g and that way it goes strait to the gut and wont breakdown in the light.

i wouldn't mix any other drugs with metro myself, id treat for flukes after you finish the treatment
