Read an article in AAM issue 4 by Dr. Richmond Loh. re denitrated filters.
In his diagram he shows that the by product is nitrogen gas and carbon dioxide. Does the carbon dioxide go back into the tank. If so would that alleviate the need to add carbon dioxide to a planted tank.
