Food from supermarket

My LFS hasn't any frozen brine or blood worm left. They are getting more in next week!!! I have only a local Woolies here. Can I get anything from there to help my discus get through. No beef heart unless you order it.

Apparently Big W here has frozen turtle dinner. Will this do for 6 days?

You can easily make a nutritious food for your discus without beefheart. Substitute some shelled prawns, fish fillets, fresh salmon, green peas, lightly cooked carrot and silver beet or spinach.

Put it all in the mincer or blender, then freeze it into blocks of a size suitable for each meal.

frozen turtle dinner is beefheart based it will do in a pinch, ifeed my turtles discus mix that i make at home.
