Re-using carbon [Archive]

Hi Everyone

I was just wondering if you can re-use carbon, if it has only been used for about 1 week? Can you wash the carbon bag in tank water then place it back into the filter.

carbon once saturated can only be regenerated by baking at around 3600-3800C for 15-30min.

if its not yet saturated you can wash it and stick it back in the filter.
