For the last couple of days i have been noticing my discus bullying and pecking at the driftwood.
I have separated and they are still cleaning?

What does this mean??
is it a sign??

You'll have noticed them move away from the main group, start shaking and shimmering (is that a word?) to each other - generally means they like each other. They will then select a breeding site - breeding cone, filter pipe etc, keep the others away and then maybe start the process of laying.

Sounds like the right signs - could take them a while to get it right though, so don't be disheartened. Also, could be 2 girls, you never know. Good Luck :D

Keep us updated with how they go snakeskin.

It's an excellent sign, but it's early days yet, so be patient.

I let my young pairs breed a couple of times in the community tank before moving them into a breeding tank on their own.

The rest of the fish in your tank will feast on the eggs or fry if they get the chance, but it will encourage the parents to protect their babies, and eventually make better parents of them.

Good luck.

It's a very exciting time.
