hi all, what size tanks are you all running? i am looking into purchasing a new 4 foot that's 46cm wide and 43cm high, do you think this will suffice? or should i get wider? also, i know it's probably a pain but could you tell me the width of the glass on your tanks? the one i'm looking at is 6mm but i'm not sure if that's thick ehough.

thanks

The bigger you can go, the happier you'll be in the long run, if you've got the fish bug (and it is contagious, you won't have just one tank for long).

The bigger the tank the more fish you can keep and the more stable the environment, therefore the easier to keep.

My main tank is a 6ftx2fthx1.5ftw. I'm really frustrated now that I didn't hold out for a 6x2x2 - but I might get there yet.

If your just starting out I would suggest starting small. Maybe a 3ftx1.5x1.5.
But no doubt the "bigger tank" bug will bite you and you'd be looking to upgrade soon after.
I personally think the 6x2x2's are fantastic.
