I noticed the other day one of my discus had something hanging from it.
I called merrilyn and she confirmed that it was Anchor worm and i had to pull it out and put betedine on it so it doesn't get an infection.
Anyway I am pretty sure it is on a couple other fish, thing is they are alot smaller and would be impossible to pull out.

Ok I think treating the whole tank might be the next step

On to the next wierd thing in my tank.
Found this while cleaning gravel today.

some sort of bristle worm, i think there was a disscussion on these before somewhere
dont think we named them specifically and consensus was non pathogenic and good food source

fantastic photography by the way

Those are some great photos,

I agree with merrilyn, thats anchor worm no doubt.

those bristle/sandworms are great food, my 2 big plecs tried to play tog of war with a long one once.

they're harmless and seem to do a good job eating any uneaten good in the substrate that gets missed by the gravel vac.
