I've wondered for awhile now why none of my discus have paired up or laid eggs. So a few days ago I moved the spray bar back against the glass so there is little to no flow in the tank.
And <WALLA>...!!!!!
Lastnight my red melon paired up and sure enough I have my first batch of eggs. Only problem is they have laid against the latex background which isn't smooth at all. There's proberly about 40ish eggs which is small I know but i'm stoked to have this many than none at all.
I'll let nature take its course for a while.... proberly 4-5 lays and i'll then move them to a breeding tank.
