sso i finally got it done. shitload of sweat but its outta my garage in into the living room.

so to start, 300kg of love waiting to be filled with fish

http://giantfishtank.bigblog.com.au/data/5/25288/image/start2207220080111180233_m.jpg

and this is where its going. to get there, has to go 9 meters to the front steps, up 9 steps, get pivoted onto its end then thru the front door, down the hall, through the living room and finally on to the stand shown here

http://giantfishtank.bigblog.com.au/data/5/25288/image/start12207120080111180233.jpg

so it started well. got to the front door no probs, got it up on its end then discovered the tank was 76cm high not 75 and with the screen door on the space we had to work with was 76cm. so had to rip off the screen door and make sure it didnt touch the tank. we now had 77cm. so 5mm each side to work with..... you beauty.

http://giantfishtank.bigblog.com.au/data/5/25288/image/door32208320080111180233_m.jpg

so we managed to wrestle it in no probs, and more importantly no chips on the glass. next was sliding it down the hall on a blanket

http://giantfishtank.bigblog.com.au/data/5/25288/image/hallway52208820080111180233_m.jpg

then it was nearly there and it had to up on to the stand

You have got to be kidding me!

What a logistical nightmare!

I thought Taka's photos of building a tank inside the house was insane - but moving a tank through a doorway with 5mm buffer on each side is just nucking futs!! ;)

I can't wait to see this thing filled and running though!

Nice work!

i am hanging to get fish in there. problem is i am a little fussy on what i want. discus arrive in quarantine next week. cardinals i think at the same time. i already have 5 others picked out and ready for me at the shop, but i want to add all the discus at once, so these 5 are waiting for the imports to be ready. i am hoping to get some cories in soon. also if i can source 20-30 peppermint fry i will chuck some of them in.
