Dupla Ground

Hi i am thinking about to set up a plant tank and at the moment i have few substrates product in mind however i am still not sure which one is good/bad.

At the moment i am consider to use Dupla Ground, the price is ok but besides that i have no idea whether it's worth using it or not .

Can anyone please give me some advice on this product or any suggestion on other product ??

I've been using it in some pots for about a month now, so far no complaints, i'd rate on par with eco complete and onyx sand for growth. I dont rate it as higly as flora base (I like the way the plants grow and the slight reduction in ph)

just wonder do i need to wash it before i use it ??

i didn't and it didnt cloud the water for more than 2 days, i used a shot of geo minerals when i put the pots in so that may have helped.
