my discus doin strange things

is your discus spitting water in mid air??? coz' mine is spitting water out of their tank???? whenever i'm feeding them live worms... they will get excited and spit water out of the tank!!!! strange....

its like arwona in the amazon thingy! hahahaha funny...

Have to admit I've never seen it before, but it could be due to the excitment of getting their favourite food :P

I have 2 fishes that do spit water when fed. I have a female that also protects her babies by using her body to splash water at me when I remove the tank lids to feed. Hate feeding that pair now as I usually get wet.

Hi i have over a hundred and fifty discus over 3" and i have only got four spitters,

When i put beef heart on cover glass to defrost the four sit under it and spit to dis-lodge it.

Very interesting to, i wish they all did it.....

hahaha... they get too excited! LOL.... its so funny when they do that! its like a dog begging for food! haha
