Jumping Discus

On the same day, 2 my discus jumped out of the tank and hit the floor. Luckily they are alive but one has a wound that is skin deep. I have had them for some monts now and they have never done that before.

how can i help the scared one and what can i do to prevent this?

give good water quality and add salt to the water to help the wound heal.

the best way to stop this is to put a lid on your tank.

do you know what scared them to make them jump out?

got to have a lid it is always risky when you don't.sometimes they get spooked for no reason and jump.i've had a 4 in.discus jump through an inch and a half space in the lid

check your ammonia Tariq, if that isin't the problem change your water.
