Hi,
Im setting up a 280ltr planted discus tank and want to use eco-complete but need to no what is the ideal depth. How many bags will i need my tank is roughly 72inches long and 14 inches wide???. Cheers Axl

i like a depth of about 4 inches, but i grow mainly swords, i believe 2 is the recomended minimum.

you'll need 6 to 8 bags for a 6'x14"

are you serious 6 to 8 bags at $84 for 25kg thats over $500 buxs, are you sure i need that many that seems alot for a substrate

Mate the bags i got were only 9.8kg
you could go for a 2 inch depth in which case 4 9kg bags will proably do (or in your case 2 25kg bags).

25kgs bags would have been nice though
