Ello :wink:

just wondered, ive never noticed a Ph kit on the shelf for Ph lower than 6.6 my standard one. Have I just not noticed or do i need to get from a special place???? Sorry if Stoopid question :oops:

It's a good question actually.

Most pH kits don't go below 6, so if you want readings lower than that, you need to buy an electronic pH Pen. Lots of the online shops have them, starting from around $40 or so.

nutrafin make a wide range kit that goes down to 5.0.

other then that you can try one of the cheeper ph pens and just replace it every 3 months once it starts to drift from calibration.

I had the same problem. I looked on Ebay and won a bid for only $12(I was the only bidder).

The Serra PH kit goes to 4 and costs about $23.
