Some Basic question on water

Hello All.

I have few questions with regards to affect on water

1. If we have 10 tanks at our home, is it essential to maintain 10 different pipe to siphon the water from the tank or just one can be used for all the tanks

2. Is it essential to have 10 different nets.

3. here in India, mumbai the climate is dropped down..is it that during winters Discus tend to eat less than there normal.

4. If as a food only BHM is feed in that case is deworming still required.

I use just the one siphon and set of nets for my fish room.

you should have a heater in all your tanks so as the tanks stay the same temp all year round, regardless of the weather.

Nandu in November, December , Jan and Feb you will be better off with a heater. Even in winter your heaters will probably only work at night. If it ends up too expensive at least keep the heaters at 20 degrees. one of the few positives of hot and humid Mumbai weather.

whats in the BHM ???

Its better to de-worm, treat for flukes and flagellates when you get new fish.

10 nets and 10 pipes hmmm ideally we should all do that but it gets very inconvenient. you could have a seperate net and pipe for any new fish you have in quarantine or any fry you are growing out
