What kind?

These went on sale at my local aquarium for $15.00 because people weren't buying them. They called them Golden Neons (although I've never heard of that name). I had to buy a pair for the price, one has some red going on and the other has more turq.. Any ideas?

They're at bout 2.5 inches so it'll be interesting as they grow.

top fish is a blue diamond cross ( x ?golden pigion or ?pearl/white pigion) looks stunted. bottom is a snakeskin cross.

Thanks! What are the signs that would make you think the top one is stunted? The tank was full and I tried to pick ones that were larger and more round.

the eye is way too big, also it doesn't sem to have much weight in its cheeks.

the bottom fin in both fish also looks very diamond shaped.

At $15 a pop thats a good fish to learn with. Grow it out you might be suprised.

I'd start feeding it colour enhancing type foods to bring out the colour more.
