A. cacatuoides Double red frys

Hi all,

Clean up my tank today and found my cacatuoides pair have frys. My intention is not to breed them just yet as I'll be going away for 3 weeks.

They are in with my catfishes and the female took up one of the cave with the catfish inside. How the fry survived is anyone guess as I can see two catfishes are always in the same cave. Anyway I don't think the frys will survive as I'm going to ship the parent to another location while I'm away.

Back from holiday and found 5 frys still in my tank. It is a miracle that these frys survived without food for 3 weeks. They are now close to 6mm.

The tank was not the best condition to raise frys as my plants died and poluted the water. It is a miracle.
