Hi,
I'd like to ask some experts how to tell the difference between apistogramma nijsseni and apistogramma panduro. Google gives me conflicting images.

Hi Eric,

panduro male have a red ring around the edge of the tail, body is more of a sky blue tint. Some may have a black spade/triangle mark near the tail.

panduro female may have some red around the edge of the tail, and have large black patch in the middle of the body (can extend to the back of the gill).

nijsseni male is darker blue and the red edge on tail is not as prominent.

nijsseni female have a circular spot in the middle of the body, and another near the tail.
