I like your tank. The green of the plants goes well with the dark substrate. Good stuff.

Vallis has run wild growing everywhere now instead of just staying at the back.

Nice tank! Yes, that mystery plant is a form of hygro, I have a little left. It's illegal here in the US because it is a weed, which ca choke out native plants outdoors or whatever is in your tank, for that matter.

It is a nice looking plant, but keep an eye on it so it doesn't take over your tank like it did to one of mine.

Cheers, and congrats on an awesome setup!

Thanks moneymike :)

The vallis is whats taking over the tank atm. and it doesn't look like it plans to stop anytime soon :)

Hey

Found this old post.

Thought i'd update.

http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b371/aquariumsrus/Planted%20tank/IMG_1123a.jpg

This pic may still be a month or a bit outdated.
But what has changed since the last update.
No more angels. I tried to catch all the SAEs out but couldnt' catch 1 so 1 is left.

So now there is discus, ottos, 1 SAE, glass shrimp, cherry shrimp, various types of bn, cardinals, rummies, blue rams, bolivian rams, a few whiptails. I think that is it.

Plantwise, too many to name.

Cheers

Hey

Thanks Illusn.

Yep it does to!
I constantly have to turn it to compost.
Once it gets going its a machine :)

I also trim the leaves so make it stay low.

Dan I haven't seen your tank thread before... so WOW. The transformation to your recent pics is fantastic. Love your selection of wood and plants. Are you using Co2?

Hey

Thanks Matt15

Yep have pressurised co2 on a timer with the T5 lights.

Its just dual T5s but recently bought another dual T5.
Why? Because I could afford to :)
But not neccessary.

Its eco-complete substrate.

I dose with seachem Excel and recently flourish but i'll stop flourish after I finish the bottle.
