What exactly are the water parameters?

They are quite a good tuff fish if kept in good water chemistry and fed nutritional foods.

Unless you buy rams from a reputable local breeder it will invariably end in tears these days. They are so inter-bred, the imports are very often full of antibiotics and God knows what else and they seem to fall over at the drop of a hat. I decided to leave them alone 3 years ago until I found a decent source and still haven't here in Australia. It's a shame to as they are a beautiful little fish. IME Gold Rams are even worse.

I got some good ones a few months ago. They were apparently bred from german imports. They live with some young discus and grew pretty quick.
The males are about 5cm long and 2.5cm high, some even have little humps on their heads.
