climatise discus

When i bring new fish home, i acclimatise them by floating the bag above the water for 15mins.
Then i add some of the tank water into the bag, and wait for 10 mins before letting the fish into the tank.
Does this process work for Discus? do i need to take more time to acclimatise them?

that should work but i would take it a bit longer to put them in. i use a bucket and air line i run it from the tank and in to the bucket that way it will run longer and i would do it a few times then put them in the tank
