I found an old pic of one of my discus before i started feeding her Colour Bits, was amazed to see how a diet including colour bits can make such a difference on a fish. I did like the yellow she once had but still looks nice. Just wondering if others had noticed changes such as this?

hehe hi mitch mate very common and i think every one that uses colour bits has the same thing , that is what the produc is supposed to do make the fish redder, only it make them a little more orange , if you stop feeding colour bits in time it will go back to the first colour good luck mate

Hi Mitch, is it only me or does the peppering also look a bit darker and more intense after feeding colorbits in that fish?

mine all become more orange/red after feeding colorbits, even my blue diamonds go slightly orangy arount the pectrol fins.

Year the pepering is alot more in that photo, but not sure why! Ive had her for about a year and a half and her peppering just comes and goes for periods at a time. It generally happens when she is about to spawn. So I dont think i could pin it on the colour bits.

that explains it, shes making herself darker so it's easier for the fry to find her, what a thoughtfull mum, good luck with her, i love her markings.
