Open sore ?

Hello,

My large Swan White has two open sores which do not seem to be improving. One is the size of a small pea and the other is slightly smaller. They have been there for about 6 weeks and I have treated them with betadine (advised by LFS) which has not worked.

The discus is breathing hard (at least 1 - 2 breaths/second), gills extended. It is still eating but is not improving.

Any advice on possible treatment?

Hi Dave, where are the sores. Is there a chance of getting a pic?

When you said you used betadine, how did you use it. Did you remove the fish from the tank and paint it on the wound, or what?

I need to know the stats on your tank too.
